Hi,
I am trying to make my oak pro wide (PoE) work, but I had no luck. I really tried every option but nothing seems to work.

I used the device_manager.py to change the device IP in order to avoid weird clashes with the local network over wifi.**

I have tried to reflash the bootloader and the last version (network) as described in the documentation. I flash the configuration and on reconnect I see that all the values persist.

The lan on my computer is**

Then I tried multiple ways of connecting to the camera but with no luck.

Option 1: PoE and Pc-to-PoE adapter

I have disconnected from wifi. Then I tried to “power-cycle” the local network connection (off/on). The camera is connected to the UniFi PoE that you shipped with the camera and this is connected to my computer (it worked once). After some patience and connecting/disconnecting, finally the camera can ping.

As soon as I try to run any example (with all the possible hacks, like increased timeouts as described here: https://docs.luxonis.com/hardware/platform/deploy/poe-deployment-guide/#OAK%20PoE%20deployment%20guide-Initial%20Connection-Debugging

And the ping stops and the network goes down. All the information I could collect from wireshark point to some weird retransmission behavior.

First the camera sends an ARP and is recognized**

As soon as I try to run the example, we see a flood of duplicate ACKs**

What also did not work:

disconnecting wifi and rebooting the computer without it
changing the cable PoE adapter-to-computer
reflashing the camera with the device manager

Option 2

I tried to understand if the PoE is playing weird with the sensor and tried to exclude it from the equation. Then I tried the alternative “ethernet for data only” way as described here: https://docs.luxonis.com/hardware/platform/deploy/powering-poe/.
I reconnected the camera using the usb-c adapter and the ethernet cable for data transmission only to my local computer.

The system logs show that the bootloader is detected, indeed I can still use the device_manager and this detects the camera.

It seems like the link goes repeatedly up and down. sudo ethtool -i enp0s31f6 shows

As soon as I try to connect run the rgbd-example (but any would do) the link goes repeatedly up and down, causing the camera to fail and the whole setup to disconnect
