We are releasing a new variant of our OAK ToF camera!
We have built the new variant because people often mention that:
- 800P color stream resolution is too low for many applications
- Stereo depth from 2x OV9782 is redundant, as they already have the ToF depth

Difference
Here are the differences between the two OAK ToF (aka OAK-D-SR-PoE) variants:
New variant "12MP Single":
- ToF 33D, 640x480 resolution
- IMX378, 12MP color sensor
- OV9282, 1MP global shutter monochrome sensor, no IR filter (so it sees both visible + IR)
- IR illumination/flood LED - for night vision
Existing variant "1MP Stereo":
- ToF 33D, 640x480 resolution
- 2x OV9782 (stereo pair), 1MP color global shutter sensor
- IR illumination/flood LED - for night vision
- IR laser dot projector - for active stereo
