Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to make a fun project for my kids and was wondering if this camera can track an object in 3d space up to a max of 110 feet per second.
My kids will be throwing a baseball and trying to hit a square target from about 30ft away. The environment could be controlled by putting up tarps to block out the background, colored hit box, and install lighting to ensure its well lit.
I would like to know the speed, accuracy, and trajectory of the ball.
Would the baseball be too small or move too fast? It seems like the cameras that detect depth are 120FPS and the main camera 60FPS. The entire throw should be 0.25 seconds which should give us plenty of frames both at 60 or 120FPS.
What software would be the best to do this in? If it works well, I have a few friends who would want to set it up for their kids too!
Thoughts?
