I'm in a research group working with robotics and we are thinking of using the OAK 4 D as our main camera and embedded computer. However, we are not so sure how ROS would work on RVC4. I would be grateful if somebody could give me more information about this.

    the ROS integration will be pretty similar to what is currently available, with the added possibility to run ROS nodes on the device directly (since it is a linux system). The driver itself will be supported around the time V3 version of DepthAI core library will be released

    Official non-alpha release should take place around the end of March
