Do Luxonis have plan for Implementation of RTSP Protocol and ONVIF Standard in Luxonis OAK POE Cameras for security industry as well as it will benefit other industrial automation.

    What about ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) standard in Luxonis OAK POE cameras.

    As it's mandatory to have ONVIF option in United Arab Emirates security regulatory authority.

    With ONVIF standard, we can position Luxonis cameras as the ideal choice not only for the security industry but also for edge-based AI and computer vision automation in homes, hospitality industry, Retail industry and even some part of industrial automation and we can surpass normal IP cameras cloud based automation and have everything done on edge with OAK POE cameras.

      Neither of these is planned at the moment for the RVC2-based devices, especially as there are licences associated with us integrating this into cameras. Feel free to send email to support@luxonis.com and we can discuss custom development and NRE/fees.
      For RVC3/RVC4 and forward, both of these should be supported out of the box, as these will have Linux OS, which would make it easier to implement.
