Hello,

We are interested in keeping using the sensors we know well, one of them is Sony IMX296. We saw that in Release v2.20.0 of depthai-core, IMX296 support is in the Feature list, I would like to know if we could use this sensor as we do not see the relevant camera module in your store?

Also interested in this. Would the current support include the RPi camera here?

      Hi dcuccia / l4es ,
I apologize for the late reply. IMX296 should work directly with the FFC line, and also IMX219 (RPi Cam V2) using imx219 branch through the UC-244 adapter.
      Thoughts?
      Thanks, Erik

Great news, thank you! Any chance we'll see a "slim" IMX296 with M12 mount from Luxonis/Arducam? Would be interested in both color and mono options.

        Hi dcuccia ,
Luxonis uses Arducam as the only camera supplier, so it would be from Arducam anyways🙂 So it would perhaps be best to check up with them on it.
        Thanks, Erik

erik, I wanted to confirm that the above Arducam module is compatible with the OAK-FFC-4P board?

        https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/hardware/en/latest/pages/DD2090.html#oak-ffc-4p

In that product's documentation, it says, "Please note that only revision R1M1E1 and newer camera modules can be connected to this OAK FFC board," so I wanted to double check. I presume one would also need one of these FFC adapters?

          Hi dcuccia ,
It should work from the sensor perspective, but since it's not specifically for OAK, it likely means no one actually tried it (at least from our team). That said, it should work, but I can't say for 100%. And if it would work, I don't think you'd need the adapter - as arducam ffc cables are directly compatible with OAK, whereas RPi cables are a bit wider so you need the UC244 adapter to be compatible.
