Deploying inference on the device.

Hello! I used roboflow to train a model to detect some objects. I would like to connect them to my OAK-1 (PoE) cameras but when I try to use the model hub page I uploaded it but it only let me deploy it into a OAK-4 device.

I would like to do it in depth ai v3 as I developed the code there. I'm checking the docs and I'm reading that I can deploy it after I connect my device but I can't connect my non OAK-4 devices because I don't have that option (Am I supposed to contact support)

I would like to deploy mi model on the camera. (I've already uploaded it into the model hub AI)

(But I cannot convert it…)

Hey @xurde – Luxonis Hub’s direct “Deploy to device” flow targets OAK-4, so your OAK-1 PoE won’t show up there – nothing wrong with the camera itself.

You can either keep running it directly with a DepthAI v3 pipeline on your computer, or plug the OAK-1 PoE into a Linux machine and connect that machine to Luxonis Hub. On the page you linked, scroll down to the “Other OAKs” section – there’s a step-by-step guide there for setting this up.

Hello Oskar thank you for the fast answer. As I've stated in my message I did follow the connecting guidelines. My main problem with this step-by-step is that I can't follow the steps because the page changed. According to the guide the steps would be:

Devices > Connect Device > Custom Linux Install > Copy

But when I try to connect the device I can't only connect the OAK-4

The steps I'm doing are:

Devices -> Connect Devices -> And I don't have the Custom Linux Install box where I should place the code

Hey @xurde - Okay now I see what you mean ... the UI changed: the old “Custom Linux Install” (legacy agent) is being replaced by a new self-hosted agent, which is why you don’t see that box anymore. For new Luxonis hub accounts you can only add OAK-4 directly; to connect a Linux host with OAK-1 PoE via Hub you’ll need to contact Luxonis support from the Hub UI so we can enable the new self-hosted agent for you.
