EIS on OAK4

Hello Luxonis Support Team,

I came across a doc mentioning that the OAK4 supports Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). Could you please provide some guidance on how to enable this feature? Is it enabled by default, or does it require specific runtime configuration, similar to HDR - camera.initialControl.setHdr(True)?

@MulongDeng OAK4 hardware supports EIS, but it isn’t exposed in DepthAI yet, so it’s not enabled by default and can’t be toggled like HDR. For now, stabilization would need to be done on the host side (e.g. with IMU or optical-flow post-processing).

I was just wondering if there is any plan or roadmap regarding the implementation of this feature.
Also, I would like to ask about microphone support as well. Is there any plan for that?

Yes, both are planned. Microphone support should be ready by the end of the year, but there’s no exact timeline for EIS yet.
