Power Oak-D CM4 POE with only power no data

Hi,

We are trying to power the Oak-D CM4 POE with just power as its on a moving object and will have a static program running to begin with so no data connection is needed.

What would be the best way to do this?

or might be possible to power it from the USB inside the case?

We have 12V power available

Best option would be to use a PoE injector – it will provide power now, and if you ever need a data connection later it will work too. We’ve listed a few tested options here, scroll to "Powering from battery", where v12 options are listed:

Powering from USB is not possible for CM4.

OskarSonc Thanks for your reply, and sorry for taking a while to response I did see the options to power and the one listed in the following: TPDIN-1256GD-BT & TP-DC-1248GDX2-HP. for 12V input would it be safter to go with the TPDIN-1256GD-BT option? as the other one says that its seem to be unrealible as it doesn't power it own LED until 15V
