Measuring Paper Stack Height with OAK-D S2

Hi,

I want to measure the height of a stack of paper using the OAK-D S2. The camera is mounted ~40 cm above the stack, which can be anywhere between 0.5 cm and 3 cm tall.

I’m new to DepthAI and not sure where to start. Does anyone have an idea or even an example of how I could approach this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Paper stack is probably all white w/o texture so depth will likely cause problems. Do you have some sort of pattern you can project on to the stack to improve depth accuracy? Are you measuring the height of stack or just sorting the stacks into eg. 2 classes?
