Hi, we are experiencing a problem of excessive brightness during the day as soon as there is some sunlight with the rgb image of the oak thermal camera.

The auto-exposure produces an image which is really too bright, whereas by adjusting manually the exposure time and ISO settings, we obtain a better image.

The problem is that if we keep these settings, the images will be too dark in low-light conditions. Therefore, we need the camera to work properly in auto-exposure mode.

Is this camera not suitable for outdoor use when there is sunlight?

The device uses an IMX462 which is great in low light, but this might cause issues in bright light. I'll check with the team, likely just needs additional tuning. Or perhaps you can track the exposure time during the runtime and cap it using setAutoExposureLimit

    Thanks,
