We currently have a short term interactive art installation up that uses the Oak-D Pro POE camera. The camera is mounted overhead, facing downwards, and is located outside. We have installed a "hood" over sorts above the camera so that it is not exposed directly to any sort of rain or falling precipitation.
On several occasions now we've encountered condensation on the inside of the gorilla glass, between the camera sensor and the glass. Luckily we have 2 of the same camera and can swap the camera out if this happens, but this still requires someone to be on site to monitor this problem and perform this swap out, resulting in downtime for the installation. Can you offer any advice for mitigating this issue and/or any information about root cause(s)?
Thank you!
