Hi

I am crrently using the 33D ToF camera with OAK-FFC-3P board for depth accuracy evaluation with other sensor.

Since the depth accuracy result shows 33D ToF have bad accuracy, I would like to consult about the reason.

About the calibration, I followed the instruction on this page Calibration (luxonis.com) to conduct calibration.

After conducting the calibration, the "EEPROM written successfully" window poped up correctly.

Since the 3D view in the DepthAI viewer(V0.2.4) shows that the flat surface is actually flat, I could say that the calibration was success.

About the evaluation setting, I set up the evluation at the big open area facing the wall and set the camera height at 1.2m to avoid multipath. Then, I set both camera facing the wall and align their position by their front lens.

The distance was measured from the lens center and was data was captured 2 times at 500mm and 1000mm. (one camera at a time)

After summarizing the result (attached image below) by plotting the horizontal and vertical cross section in depth image, the result shows that the depht from 33D ToF(orange) is always 6-7cm less than actual distance(red) while the depth from other sensor (blue) shows almost no different from actual distance.

Could you tell me why this error occur?

We'd like to inspect the unit, we will replace the device with a properly calibrated one.

Could you write to support@luxonis.com with this thread attached? Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Thanks,
    Jaka

Since there is no specification document attached with the product when delivered and the box doesn't have serial number written, I do not know how to confirm the serial number which is required for replacement application.
Could you please tell me how to check the serial number of the product.

I understand, but let me confirm one point.
I found this number "14442C10C169CBD600" on the DepthAI viewer when using the module.
      Is this a serial number?
