  • Most accurate model for visitor counting

Which model is best, most accurate, for counting visitors in a room that can be run on a Raspberry Pi and OAK-1 camera.

I have tested the Gen2 People tracker, but I think it misses a bit when there are visitors who walk close behind each other and sometimes also if they have a backpack.

In the demo that is available, the camera is mounted straight from above, but I have my camera mounted slightly diagonally from the front. Does it matter?

Thanks

You would need a bigger model with a higher accuracy. But it will likely run slower.

It matters if the model was trained on images from above. In those cases the accuracy of predictions when tilted is lower.
