I’m experiencing an issue with an Oak-D PoE camera. My script initializes the camera and then uses its information to generate an output on the screen through a color-coding system (like a traffic light: green, yellow, red). If the camera is disconnected, the screen goes black. Randomly, this output freezes, and the screen turns black, but if I ping the camera, it appears to be online. It seems to me that this could be caused by a brief disconnection from which my script cannot recover the camera. But why does this happen? Could it be related to the OS (in this case, Xubuntu on a Lubancat Rockchip SOC)? Or could it be a technical limitation of the cameras, for example, due to overheating? These cameras are in a work environment and are constantly exposed to the sun.
