I wanted some help in getting familiarised with the ESP 32 environment, could u suggest me a IDE to work on and preferable OS u might be using for the development. Thanks in advance
getting familiarised with the ESP 32
Hi sanjith
Alright, I heard back from the team. The advice was to get a wESP32 and use microPython to get going initially.
The wESP32 comes pre-programmed with microPython out of the box and has Ethernet connectivity. So it allows easy/quick remote prototyping.

So then also our DepthAI with integrated ESP32 is now available as well: https://shop.luxonis.com/collections/all/products/bw1092-pre-order
But keep in mind it is far from a polished product right now, as it is in Alpha testing stage, so requires significant expertise now to get it running.
Later it will be simple/easy - but right now the firmware is still so new/raw that is is not yet advisable for anyone but those interested in 'hacking' on the device.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Brandon
