OAK-D SR PoE IP66 in description, IP67 on device

Hey guys, I just got the OAK-D Short Range PoE with ToF camera and on the device it says IP67. In the description in the shop it says IP66. Which one is correct?

Also I know that IP67 is tested to use in 1m depth for up to 30 minutes. My use-case needs to place the camera 0,5m but for extended period of time. Do you think the camera can be submerged for a few hours or even days?

FredWerner I'm also getting OAK-D-SR-POE with ToF hopefully in the very next week. I may also confused about this.

The first produce batch from August 2024 has only IP65. Later units will have IP67.

The specification for IP67 is 1 meter of depth during 30 minutes. So if the device is deeper or it is submersed longer than 30 minutes, it is not covered by this IP rating.

Okay thanks. Can we put the camera in a custom housing using gorilla glass right on top of the existing cover? Or does that interfere with the tof-sensor? I'm asking because I noticed that there is a cutout where the tof-sensor is, so it seems gorilla-glass interferes with the tof-sensor. I just need verification for this.

Yes, the reflections from the cover glass directly back to the Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor could be problematic.
