When testing an Oak-1 lite camera module with our software, we experienced what seemed to be a hardware failure. For context, we are testing the camera with a Nvidia Jetson AGX Orin computer. When we plug the Oak-1 Lite into the Jetson, it is no longer recognized as a usb device. I also tried running the luxonis crash report script, and it did not recognize the camera module. The crash report script was able to recognize other Luxonis modules using the same cable and usb port. I am wondering what could cause this type of hardware issue?

Hi Erik, sorry for the delay,
I have gone through that guide. The only script I ran was the crash report script. When I ran that script, it was not able to recognize the camera device, as if it was not connected to my PC. I connected a working Oak-1 Lite to my PC using the same cable, and the crash report script was able to immediately recognize the camera. I also tried connecting to the faulty camera using the DepthAI camera viewer app, and it was not recognized there either.

I ran dmesg, and did not recognize any output related to the Oak-1 lite camera module. When I plug in other luxonis camera modules, I can see them listed in the dmesg output as a usb device. Below is the full dmesg output, taken right after I plugged in the problematic camera.

This does look like a HW issue. If you can, open the device and check the lights on the PCB (backside, 2 LEDs). If not working or you can't open the device, write to support@luxonis.com so we can replace the device.

Thanks for taking a look at the logs. I agree, it does seem like a HW issue. I going to do some further investigating with some of my coworkers to see if we can figure out what initially let to the failure, and I can try opening it up. We will reach out to support too. Closing this forum for now, and if there's anything else to discuss I will make a new post. I appreciate the help in troubleshooting this camera.
