Bugs with Anaconda(?) on Ubuntu

Team! Thanks for OAK-D lite - it so tiny and awesome 🙂

I test OAK-D lite with demo script - it runs but with no GUI! Just two windows: main video and depth colormap video... I saw the terminal out and suspect the problem in the dependency for the PyQt:

I try to fix it as people in web says, I just install several dependency libs and reinstall lower version of PyQt. So Import Error was gone, but GUI wasn't run (GUI window emerged with empty content and collapsed soon after). Just two same windows. Also on start another error emerged:

And after 2-3 minutes demo script terminates with following out:

I'm on Ubuntu 20.03, python 3.8.5, Anaconda (conda 4.10.3).

Update on the main issue (after 2-5 minutes demo script terminates) - there was revealed with AF version.
I examined FF version - and it's okay! Device works about 40 min without any issues. I stopped script manually. Also it's worth to note that AF version became hot faster, with nn--FPS is only 0.6-0.8 whereas FF version not so hot with nn-FPS about 4-5!

It seems that the main problem with (this specimen?) of AF version hardware or microcode...
I'll test next two FF cameras I ordered and share the results.

The second issue (with GUI) still persist with FF version...

Hello merr , could you also try using a different USB cable? As it looks like you are using USB2 cable instead of USB3, which is the source of many issues. Since you are on Linux, have you instealled dependencies? As there are some dependencies needed to run the QT GUI - which fails for you.

I installed all dependencies with command you mention and try to restart a demo with no changes - GUI fails. Also I use the USB cable I ordered with cameras, it is USB3, but I test it on old machine with USB2 so it constrains the FPS as I could understand.

And I exit from Anaconda base environment, recreate whole project with all dependencies in isolated virtual environment, same result... GUI failed.

During dependencies installation I saw this:

Could it cause the problem?

UPD1: I revealed that issue was been with Kerberos authentication protocol, which caused ImportError (see the first screenshot above). According to mentions in the web it is specific Ubuntu issue. I tried re-install PyQt with version downgrade (5.12.2 instead of 5.15.1) and this issue was gone.

But it seems it's still not a complete fix:

I have no idea whether this will be useful merr , but a colleague of mine had the exact same issue and he just mentioned that I think I cleared and reinstalled pyqt and pytq-sip. It might be work trying in your case as well.

Hello there!

Well, I tried several options with versions substitution, libs reinstalling - it solve one issue but lead to another... Finally I solved them all in a bit radical way =) Anaconda was completely uninstalled and repo was reinstalled. Now it works with GUI as expected.

It seems that python tried to bind demo script with Anaconda-specific internal libs versions which causes version conflicts. I have no any guesses why as I runned it in virtual environment with all dependencies provided... I will try to reinstalling Anaconda and hope that respective environments will be isolated completely.
