OAK-1 Lite default calibration

Hi,

I get the following error on my OAK-1 Lite camera:
[1844301001BFF50800] [1.1] [5.992] [system] [warning] Calibration Data on device is empty

I tried to factory reset the calibration, which gives the following error:
Factory reset calibration FAIL: Missing or corrupted factory default calibration

Is there any way to download the .json file with the default OAK-1 Lite configuration and load it onto the camera?

Hi @maxsitt
You can try recalibrating the device using https://docs.luxonis.com/hardware/platform/calibration/. This will flash it to user space. Depending on the current calibration you have, it might be that some values are missing, for which you will need some special env variable to flash.
But try just flashing the calibration first. If it doesn't work, paste your calib json here and we will fix it.

thanks for your reply and the link to the manual calibration procedure!

So it is not possible to just load the default calibration on the device? I would like to save some time, this is the main reason I'm asking this. If there is any alternative way to the manual recalibration I would prefer it. At the moment the calib json is completely empty for all fields.

You can try flashing the calibration using https://docs.luxonis.com/software/depthai/examples/calibration_flash/.

Keep in mind to remove the protected fields at the top (otherwise you will get permission errors).

jakaskerl Hiya, would it be possible to share the same files for the OAK-1. I'm in the same siutation, just got a sealed OAK-1, but it doesn't have any data. Its the auto-focus version.

Can you give me the MXID? I think if would be easier if we just send you another device... This is usually grounds for RMA.

The MXID is 14442C10311652D000. I have contacted the general support email as well, which has given me a couple more things to try, but no joy so far.

Have you tried recalibrating the device as I suggested in the beginning of this thread? If you get the same error, then just RMA.
