I just got the OAK-D camera and have it up and functioning. My question is regarding the precision of the system in depth maps. I tried to measure distance and compare it with the real distance. My real distance was 989mm and the result from the depth map was around 996mm. I want a cm accuracy in depth measurements at a max distance of 1.5m and min distance of 70 cm. My object does not have any "texture" so i think feature matching fails here and hence the large error.
I was wondering if i could write up my own triangulation script and check if it gives better results? or any other setting that can help me achieve better results?
