Hello,
To preface, these aren't huge concerns as no functional damage has yet been done and I intend/hope to eventually use external motors to move Rae, so this feedback is mainly in hopes it may be useful to the development and improvement of the product 💝
First, upon opening Rae, I noticed that the front LED bar ribbon cable is being cut into by the hall sensor of one of the motors. The LED bar still works, and there is no functional damage yet, but I haven't used it much and in time I imagine it may cut through more and kill the front lights. A bit of extra tape would help 🙂
Second, the motors often don't fully stop when input is stopped (via the default app); they'll keep spinning slowly for a while, usually one motor more than the other. Video example: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VkEM6poE7E1p4SuSA
Third, the motors aren't of equal strength or spin at different rates, so straight forward is rarely actually straight, and turning is not an in-place spin. The two motors also have very different sounds, with one motor sounding like it is struggling. Video example: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5n9KrExhRz6xRGiA8
Again, these issues aren't huge for my use case, but hopefully they could be improved in the future.
Let me know if I can provide any more information that could be of use.
