JulenSVL We have been using the OAK-D SR to image a piece of paper 30cm from the camera. The images we've been able to capture and the live feed look as if the gain on the camera has been increased too much. Do the following images look as they should? The following image was captured on a separate computer with a different OAK-D SR using the same method. Regards, Julen.
jakaskerl Hi @JulenSVL Despite being out of focus, the images look relatively ok, not sure about your lighting conditions, but it looks like the room is quite dark. Are you using autoexposure? Thanks, Jaka
JulenSVL jakaskerl Yes, I am using autoexposure. I have tested it with manual adjustments and proper lighting, but I believe the camera isn't up to the standards we're looking for. Thank you for the assistance.
jakaskerl Hi @JulenSVL https://shop.luxonis.com/pages/warranty-and-refund-policy. Though I'm unsure whether you are unhappy because the cameras are out of focus, or the gain. Seems like the focus issue is much more prominent. The sensors being out of focus is a HW fault so the device can be replaced if you wish. Thanks, Jaka
JulenSVL jakaskerl Is the OAK-D SR capable of autofocus? Also, yes, at the ranges of 20 and 30cm, we're still unable to have the camera focus on the paper correctly, so if that is abnormal, then maybe there is an HW fault as you mentioned.
