Access Device in MATLAB

Hi, Typical USB Camera can easily access by MATLAB using Image Acquisition Tool Box. So I would like to know that is I plug my OAK D camera to PC and I wonder that if camera will accessible as 2 USB cam or Single object.

For ex, let say I have 2 usb camera connected with pc and I can access in them MATLAB. Now, I connect OAK D camera so will I access those as same as previous?

At this point I dont want to use any AI feature. My just concern is to capture the left and right frame.

You could use it plug-and-play using UVC node, but that will only allow you to have one stream at a time (https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/api/en/latest/components/nodes/uvc/).

For anything more complex, you would need to have a custom extension.

Okay got it. By that mean I can access separate camera lenses for custom image acquisition.

Correct me if wrong.

You can only access one camera at a time on UVC - so either rgb, left or right, (or disparity). But not all at once.
