Robothub: App processing stuck

Hello Luxonis team,

I've received my RAE since 3 weeks, but as you did not provide a getting started for running a simple demo app (the QR code was redirecting to Depth AI doc page???) I tried several stuff, and I 'm getting now stuck in an infinite loop that is blocking basically the usage of the RAE… I saw the video on Twitter but not able to reproduce as I'm stuck in the following state:

Maybe I misunderstood the kickstarter campaign video but I was thinking that it will be from far more easier than that to use it "Accessible for Everyone" and I'm developer but without docs or simple tutorial video… how can I guess to use well the product?

So I don't know if you are able to see my screenshots but I have an app in pending in uninstalling state blocking the queue in robothub.

There are no more apps for RAE but the RAE- Default app. The Counter App you have pending installation won't work on RAE. You can however develop an app (documentation on that to be published in the coming weeks). Unfortunately the standard templates/examples don't apply to RAE as it runs on our RVC3 core (as opposed to RVC2) - which is still under development. I will stress the importance of publishing that asap to the relevant team.

As for the stuck-in uninstall - that's unfortunate - but you will need to contact support ( support@luxonis.com ) to get that resolved as it's either a backend issue and the app is likely actually uninstalled / or some local files got messed up. Another option is to reset RAE and connect it to RH again.

We are aware of this issue, and a new FW release should address it.

thank you - to access RobotHub Agent logs - you would actually use
robothub-ctl logs

this error is just the reason that remote SSH connection (Web Terminal) doesn't work on RAE

as for reset the instructions are as follows

Press the power button for 8s for a hard shutdown. You can factory reset rae by holding the reset button (with a pin) for 10s. Factory reset will remove everything from /data and all user changes made to /etc and /var.

Thank you for sharing these but unfortunately, these are unrelated to your issue. If you would like to share the complete logs, you can try running robothub-ctl upload-support

then sharing the code you get with us

or robothub-ctl logs -l 2000 > logs.txt

then sharing the file with us

Thank you, I've just shared the logs by email as it includes sensitive data.

skyfall so after receiving the logs I can confirm its caused by the installation of unsupported app on your RAE

this caused the synchronization process to fail and thus it couldn't continue with either uninstallation or installation of the new app
