Hi,

is there any plan to develop an SDK for .Net?

I got an Oak-D cam and I'm trying to use it from a C# WPF app, but interfacing through Python is really tortuous.
I bet I'm not the only one out there willing to port the power of the Oak-D camera to windows desktop app.

Thanks!

erik changed the title to DepthAI C# (csharp) .

    Hi Vbguy ,
There was a couple of requests to add bindings for C#, but we don't have enough capacity to maintain another bindings (we officially support c++/python). That said, we would love to help (with pointers/suggestions) with community/public C# bindings, just like we have for Java. Let us know if you think you could help on these efforts, let us know.
    Thanks, Erik

    Hi Erik,

I would be interested in collaborating on this project, but I don't have much experience with wrapping C++ libraries. Therefore, I could try to start but I know I would need collaborators who have this kind of experience to make significant progress.

      Hi Vbguy ,
I think the best start would be creating an issue on depthai-core (for better discoverability), saying you would like to work on the bindings, and asking for any help. Our core engineers can help with some pointers, and hopefully the community can help as well.
      Thanks, Erik

For anyone looking at Emgu, I contacted them this morning and they said the DepthAI interface is currently under development and is considered as an experimental feature. The C# API is not complete.
