  • Depth Z value accuracy of depthai-experiments/Gen2-head-posture-detection

I'm running the demo of depthai-experiments/Gen2-head-posture-detection, and I find the accuracy of depth Z value is wrong.
As shown in the picture, the actual distance is 50cm,but the calculated depth value is 2m.
How can I solve this problem?

    Hi Ke_Kang ,
Please also provide disparity/depth map, as likely it's a problem with invalid disparity pixels.
    Thanks, Erik

      Hi,Erik
This is the error depth image I collected, and the pixels I want are [580,496].

I found that the depth data is accurate when I put my right hand on my head.Like the picture below:

This is the correct depth image I collected, and the pixels I want are [678,497].

So how can I avoid such problems in later use?
      Thanks, Ke

        Hi Ke_Kang ,
Are you using RGB-depth alignment on StereoDepth node?
        Thanks, Erik

          Hi,erik
Yes, I used RGB-depth alignment on StereoDepth node.

I have another question, can I use OAK-D-Pro to obtain the depth value of hair and black clothes?
          Thanks, Ke

Hi Ke_Kang , I believe so - is there invalid depth in those regions?
            Thanks, Erik

Ke_Kang Hi, I have encountered the same problem as you. May I ask how you resolved it later? Thanks
