The product paper doesn't seem to mention the useful range of these, any estimate for what the max is?

Hi dexter , it really mostly depends on the ambient light. Eg. if it's completely dark laser dot projector will be visible above 20m, but if it's really bright (on eg. sunny day) then it won't be visible even at a third of that. Thoughts?
    Thanks, Erik

      Hi erik
My use case it having it on a car and driving around so the questions is whether the flood light could make detection work at night and if the laser dots would help (which your comment indicates it would). Distance could be from a couple of meters to e.g. 25 and up.
Is the flood light safe for eyes? Could it be used to light up a face at night for pose detection and such?

        Hi dexter ,
I think it would be best to try it out in the exact environment you would be using it. I don't think dot projector would be very useful for illumination of the license plate - it might actually "confuse" the NN as there will be (IR) dots on it.
Regarding safety - it's class 1 laser product, but led doesn't have any issues.
        Thanks, Erik
