Good day,
I just got my Oak D yesterday and just started messing with it. The power of this is amazing to be able to see and object and tell me where that object is in 3D space.
What I am trying to do with this is to use it for robot navigation. I want to mount the camera on the front of the robot and be able to detect the distance to the nearest object within the path of the robot. I suspect there is an example program to do this, however, everything I have found so far has to do with measuring the distance to a specific object.
Any suggestions as to which demo or example would be most helpful in getting me going?
I am using this on a Raspberry Pi 4 and will be programming in Python.
Thanks in advance, can't wait to dig deeper into this technology!
