Hi @erik

As in the image below, there seems to be a difference in quality between the left screen and the right screen in the screen shot from the same height. Please check it out and let us talk more.
And i added more images getting from OAK-1-W today.
images from OAK-1-W

Please check the image quality comparing left and right.

Best regards,
Ryan.

That looks like the lens is slightly tilted relative to the image sensor, so the focus is not even across the entire image surface. I just received 3x samples of the OAK-1 W, I'll check mine tomorrow.

I have had this issue on certain sensors too. If you press on the site of the lend to push it in a little you might be able to fix it. Or you might break the lens... you need to be really careful 😆

We are currently working with camera manufacturer and our own manufacturer to make QC more robust, and to lower the threshold so cases as above are detected and discarded. Getting a robust QC system in place isn't that trivial though, so it might take some time. We apologize to everyone who experiences such problems - and hope we can fix these asap.
Thanks, Erik

The three I have seem to be fairly uniformly sharp. Slight, acceptable differences but nothing like the image above.
