Hi Erwu117 , Yes, the OAK-D-Lite consumes too much power for the RPi, see docs here. You'd need something like a Y-adapter (or powered usb hub).

      But it was working earlier and I did run some yolo models to test it maybe it got damage because of brownouts / current spikes?

      erik Is there something that I have to fix on the hardware?

          Erwu117 Try it with your laptop/PC first. I think the hardware shouldn't get damaged in case of brownouts.

                erik I dunno if the screenshots above will suffice but basically what I suspect is the unit was killed due to the brownouts in the RPi but that shouldn't be the case right? I mean how on earth a 5V rail power supply would kill an OAK-D Lite.

                  Btw I used dmesg -w command to troubleshoot the device just to found out that it is indicating 'over-current change'.

                    Erwu117 'over-current change' - does that report on your PC or RPI? Please try out on PC, as RPI is known to have power issues if you don't externally power the device (eg Y-adapter)

                        erik On RPi. As I said last time, it also didn't work on the PC when I tried to connect it (shown on the second screenshot above)

                                erik Tried it on powerbank, it mysteriously turns off the powerbank once that I plugged it in.

                                      Which LDO exactly are you talking about? Is it LDO on the OAK-D-Lite or the PMIC on the RPi?
                                      Suppose it is on the OAK-D-Lite, best would be if you can take a photo and point me to the component that is overheating or you think is causing troubles and we can let you know the PN and help with assisting you with ordering.
                                      TL;DR: If you can explain it a bit clearly to me what causes issues we might figure out something.
