Hey JoaoMonteiro - I’d avoid passive USB extensions at that length. If the device doesn’t show up in lsusb/dmesg, the USB link is not enumerating, so this is a cable/link issue.
The Y-adapter helps with power, but it won’t fix USB 3 signal integrity over 10-20m. If you need to stay with the USB model, try a powered USB 3 active optical/fiber cable and validate it with the exact host/camera setup. Keep the camera-side cable short and continue using separate power.
For a reliable 20m+ deployment, I’d recommend using an OAK PoE model instead. PoE is designed for this kind of distance, up to 100m over Ethernet, and is usually the more robust long-cable solution.
