Multi port PoE+ Injector

Hi,

I would like to ask for a recommendation for a multiport PoE+ injector to power 8x OAK 4s Camera setup. It will be running 24/7 in production environment. Currently I am using 8x single PoE+ injectors from Luxonis with QNAP QSW-M2108R-2C | 10GbE and 2.5GbE Layer 2 Web Managed Switch.

Hi Yaakob - for an 8x OAK-4S setup, the main requirement is to use a standards-compliant active PoE+ solution with enough per-port power and enough total power budget for all cameras. OAK-4 cameras require IEEE 802.3at (PoE+, 30W), and power can peak at around 25W per camera, so for 8 units you should size for roughly 200W total, ideally with some extra margin.

We have a few PoE switches we’ve tested listed here(look for one with at least 8 PoE+ ports):

Thank you for your reply. Couldn't find anything in your tested list with total power budget of more than 240W and also with 2x 10G SFP and 8x 2.5G that we need for the 8x Oak 4s cameras.
