DepthAI library block the detection of Intel D455 detection.

Problem: Unable to detect D455 after unplug OAK POE camera.

Sequence: my application starts up, detect OAK POE camera successfully, transmitting as normal, unplug OAK, application fails to detect Intel Realsense D455. Execute in a loop with wait of 3s, still not working.

What works: any other sequence works. for example, app starts up, plug in D455, detected and transmitted, unplug D455, plug in OAK POE, detected and transmitting, unplug POE and plug in D455, detected and transmitting....

Please help.

Hey jkchen46033 - this does not look like a direct DepthAI conflict with the D455.

OAK PoE is handled by DepthAI over TCP/IP, while the D455 is a separate USB device handled by librealsense. If the D455 stops being detected only after the OAK PoE unplug event, it is more likely an application hot-plug or recovery issue than the OAK itself.

Please check whether RealSense Viewer or rs-enumerate-devices still sees the D455 after unplugging OAK. If it does, then the problem is in the app logic and the RealSense context/pipeline likely needs to be recreated after the OAK disconnect. Also worth retesting on a newer DepthAI version than 2.30.0, since there were reconnect and device-offline fixes after that.

D455 is USB camera. BTW.
