micro sdcard capacity with OAK-D-PoE

I have a question about OAK-D-PoE. we would like to know min and max sd card capacity for OAK-D-PoE.
And do you have any recommandation who want to buy its sd card for OAK-D-PoE?

Hi RyanLee , I believe we have tested with 1TB uSD card and it worked as expected. Would that be sufficient? I would suggest a higher-end/robust usd card so it doesn't get corrupted (as it can happen with cheaper ones).

Sorry for reviving such an old post, but i am using an OAK-D-POE for a work project which requires us to place the camera in an underwater enclosure to monitor fish, and we must use the camera blindly in a sense and store the data that we will gather on the cameras internal memory. My question is do i have to open the camera to insert the uSD or is there another way? Furthermore, does the camera need to be connected on a computer to work or can i power it up using my powerbank, set it underwater for some time to collect the data and check what it collected afterwards?

P.S. on the documentation for powering POE devices there is a mention for IDEATRONIK poe powerbanks being reported to work and i can attest to that as well.

There should be 16gb emmc on your device which you can use to save frames/videos, more info here:

For uSD card, it's not supported by default, there's only an old branch/example of it (and you'd need to open enclosure and insert the uSD card):
luxonis/depthai-pythonblob/sdcard_support/examples/Script/script_jpeg_to_sdcard.py

You can run in standalone mode, so pipeline starts (and saves frames to Script node) when it gets power, more info here:

Hey Erik,

Thanks for your help. Using the methodology provided in the documentation i managed to save pictures in the EMMC and (sometimes) manage to serve them via http. What i want to do is to write a separate script that accesses the EMMC and downloads the data saved to the media/mmsd-0-0 directory but when i run it it cannot find the directory. I have tried rerunning the EMMC script that flashes he bootloader with no luck.

this is the separate script that im using to try to access the EMMC. Any thoughts?

If you saved images into EMMC, you have saved them under media/mmsd-0-0 directory where EMMC is "mounted". This means the directory should be accessible.
