OAK 4D AF available bandwidth issue

Before everything was working normally. However, a few days ago I suddenly noticed an issue with the recording speed.

When I used the example recording code from the Luxonis Docs to record for more than one minute, the saved video file was only about 10 seconds long.

When I checked the device using OAK Viewer, it showed an available bandwidth warning similar to the screenshot below, indicating insufficient speed.

I have already tried different computers and different Ethernet cables (CAT.5e and CAT.6), and the same warning appears in all cases. I also tested using the original cable with direct PoE connection (Type-C for power), but the issue still persists.Additionally, I checked the network settings on my computer, and the link speed shows 1.0 Gbps.

Could you please advise on the possible cause of this problem and how to resolve it

Hey StevenJiang - how are you connecting to the camera? Are you using injector/switch that supports PoE+ (802.3at, 30W)? Also are you on the latest version of Luxonis OS RVC4 (1.25.3 is currently the latest one)?
Did anything change from before to now that could cause this and is the light on the camera blue or something else?

OskarSonc Yes, I am using an 802.3af/at (40W) PoE switch. When connecting the camera to the computer by PoE, I am also supplying 52.5W power through Type-C.

The Luxonis OS RVC4 has already been updated to the latest version.

Everything was working normally before. The issue suddenly appeared during data collection last weekend. I now suspect that the original PoE cable might be faulty.

Currently, the standby LED is blue. When I try to connect using OAK Viewer, the LED briefly turns green, and after the error occurs, it returns to blue.

Thanks for the update.

From the 52 and 84 Mbps shown in Viewer, it looks like the link may be running at 100 Mbps instead of 1 Gbps, which would explain the bandwidth warning and short recordings. Could you try a direct PoE injector → PC connection (no switch) and share clear photos of the M12 connector (camera + cable side)? Also let us know if anything changed in your network setup recently (did you add any devices or change something else?).

OskarSonc Hello, thank you for your suggestion.

When I checked the M12 connector, I found that one of the pins on the cable side was slightly bent, which caused it not to make proper contact. After carefully correcting the pin alignment, the device is now working normally again.

Could you give me the output of oakctl list please? Looking for the serial number to verify the device batch and make sure we make sturdier connectors.

But I saw the OS version is still shows 1.24 , even though I previously updated it using OAK Viewer. After that, I updated it again in OAK Viewer to version 1.27.1, but the oakctl output still reports the OS version as 1.24.
