VIO with the Oak 4 D PRO

Hi.

I am very new to OAK and depthai.

My goal is to use the camera to track its location in space.

I am trying to get VIO to work, but I get the following error message:
RuntimeError: IMU calibration data is not available on device yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey HaimHelman - which examples/scripts are you running?

examples/python/RVC2/VSLAM/basalt_vio.py

HaimHelman this example is for RVC2 devices only. RVC4 devices are sadly not yet supported for VIO.

Are you aware of any external software we can use for SLAM/VIO with the OAK 4 D PRO?

HaimHelman afaik no, I will ask the team about the roadmap/workarounds...

I just got the Oak D PRO. Still I am getting the same error:

Which version of Depthai are you on?
We advise using depthai-core develop branch version for VIO:
luxonis/depthai-coretree/develop

I was using main. Now switched to develop. What solved the issue for me was running:
depthai-calibration/imu_extrinsics_update.py
