glitchyordis - OAK-D Pro AF will autofocus and be very sharp at 20 cm, OAK-1 Lite W FF is fixed-focus, and “8 cm–∞” is typical, yet it won't be so sharp as the OAK-D Pro AF in all its range. The Pro camera also has a much better sensor...
I would suggest moving camera a bit further away to around 50 cm...

OskarSonc I thought that rgb camera for OAK-D pro AF and Lite W's would achieve the same level of focus since the focus specification is identical.

Is there a specific specification or metric we can use to compare how sharp the image quality will be before purchasing the camera?
Additionally, is it possible to request a refund through an RMA since the camera does not meet our requirements?

Here is a comparison for OAK-1 lite AF vs FF camera:

The FF cameras are recommended for heavy-vibration applications, such as drones, lawnmowers, or vehicles and defenitly won't be as sharp as AF ones in whole range...
