Hello,
I am currently using an OAK-D Pro to measure the depth of objects, and I am encountering accuracy issues that seem larger than expected.
For example, in one test a box placed at a measured distance of 183 cm from the camera is reported as being at 197 cm, which results in a 14 cm error. In another test, a taller box positioned at 109 cm is measured as 114 cm, producing a 5 cm error. Based on the documentation and information I found online (https://docs.luxonis.com/hardware/platform/depth/depth-accuracy/), I was expecting the error below 200 cm to be under 2%, which does not appear to be the case here.
Regarding the configuration, I am using DepthAI Viewer with cameras B and C set to 800p (I also tested 400p, with little difference in results). Camera A is set to 1080p. The depth preset is set to the default; I have tried the other available presets as well, but the accuracy remains similar and in some cases slightly worse. I also tested the IR illumination at 765 cm both enabled and disabled, without noticing any significant change.
I would appreciate any insight or suggestions on what might be causing this discrepancy, or what I could adjust to improve depth accuracy.
Thank you in advance for your help.
