Unable to update Luxonis OS

Hello,

I have a brand new OAK 4S and wanted to update the OS before starting with anything else. However, I am not able to update. I tried updating from host, from device, and a full OS flash, but nothing works.

When i try updating from device or host, i run into the problem that the update can not be downloaded. However, when i manually click the link, the download starts without problems.

When i try a full OS flash, I loose connection to the camera:

I tried using Ubuntu 20.04 and 24.04 as well as different USB ports and cables. oakctl version is 0.15.1. The light on the camera is a constant blue, so I guess the device is not bricked?
The camera also does not show up in the OAK viewer.

Any help is greatly appreciated🙂

Is your OAK device connected to the internet (you can't oakctl device update it without internet connection yet)?

The device is not bricked in my opinion.

Thanks for your reply! Currently, I only have a one port PoE injector, which I use to connect the camera to my computer. I tried using Internet Connection Sharing (NAT), but it didn't make any difference. I have ordered a multiport PoE adapter to rule out this option. It will arrive in two days and I will report back on that.
