Unable to make connection to OAK D Lite

Hello,

I executed this command on my MacBook.

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://oakctl-releases.luxonis.com/oakctl-installer.sh)"

Successfully completed.

and I also executed

mustafacayci@Mustafas-MacBook-Pro luxonis % oakctl connect

✖ Failed to make connection. oakctl command failed:

0: Failed to make connection

1: There are no available connections.

The OAK D Lite is connected to my USB-C port on my machine. What am I missing?

Hey @MustafaCayci - oakctl is only for OAK4 devices running Luxonis OS (network-connected cameras). The OAK-D-Lite is a USB device, so it won’t appear in oakctl connect and that error is expected.

To use your OAK-D-Lite on macOS you don’t need oakctl at all – instead, please install the DepthAI library and/or OAK Viewer: https://docs.luxonis.com/software-v3/?v=OAK

Hi @OskarSonc Thank you. I was able to connect to OAK D Lite using the viewer. Does OAK D Lite come with Luxonis OS?

Are you familiar with Jetson Orin Nano? How do I connect OAK D Lite using Jetson Orin Nano?

Hi @MustafaCayci - no OAK D Lite doesn't run Luxonis OS, Luxonis OS is only on OAK4 devices...

This guide is for DepthAi v2, but should be very similar with v3, only thing to do differently if you want v3 is to use this instructions(linux) when installing DepthAi:
