Hello,
carrying on based on this issue depth_inaccuracy luxonis/depthai-pythonissues/812:
I am experiencing depth measurement inaccuracies of about 1–2 cm at short ranges (maximum distance 50 cm). In my setup, rotating or repositioning the camera is not an option. For example, when I set the camera to 42.5 cm, it consistently reports 44.2 cm. I am using the OAK-D Pro and need accurate short-range measurements.
I have set manual focus and already enabled Extended Disparity Mode with Left-Right Check, tried Disparity Shift, and tested both Face and High-Density modes, but the discrepancies persist. I am also using RGB-depth alignment.
Since depth accuracy is critical for my application, are there additional settings, calibration techniques, or processing approaches that could improve depth precision under these constraints, or am I missing something? :
