OAK4-D PRO FF i get a solid yllow light

Hi,
with a OAK4-D PRO FF i get a solid yllow light. Reseting didnt work. What can be done?

Orange LED usually means the device is getting some power but isn’t booting. This is often due to insufficient or non-compliant PoE power. The OAK-4 requires 802.3at (PoE+ / 30W), like Ubiquiti's PoE+ injector, can you check if your is compatible?

Hi,
the device was connected to a POE+ switch, The OAK4-D FF we got at the same time works fine with this switch. I tried also a POE++ switch, with the same result.

Can you give a bit more context?
So you did whole Hardware factory reset:
With power on, hold the rear button ~10s (LED blinks orange ~5s, then red and turns off), release and let it reboot.

And after that you just get solid yellow light?

Yes, but after 5 seconds the led didnt change. Also after 10s the same result. After releasing now change.I see network trafic.

So if I understand correctly it now works, or what do you mean with network traffic?
Also is the light yellow or orange?

Yes the light is still orange, but on the switch the led is blinking.

Could you check if the camera is discoverable on your LAN with oakctl or ssh, and then do an OS update.

I was able to update. But after the update the device led was constant blue. Pressing reset, the device didnt help. I cannot reset it and ssh connection requires a password.

Great, thanks for the update.
A solid blue LED means the device is ready (normal). oakctl confirms it’s on 1.18.3 / 0.14.0 with Setup: OK, so the camera is up and ready to use on local network.

SSH is disabled by default on a new update. If you want to enable it, here’s a short video tutorial:

Sorry, but i cannot reset the camera. The led remains solid blue. Pressing the reset key for longer time, it turns red and reboots into solid blue. adb is also no longer working.

I tested the same on my side — looks like you held the reset button a bit too long and triggered a full factory reset.
For “breathing blue” you need to do a network reset:

~5s hold (network reset):
- Start from solid blue (ready)
- Press and hold the reset button → LED turns solid orange
- After ~5s the LED will blink orange few times— at this moment, release the button
- Device performs a network reset → LED goes into breathing blue
