Host Spatials Calc should use VFOV?

Hi I was reviewing the gen2-calc-spatials-on-host and noticed that angley is using HFOV code.
If the aspect ratio is not 1, why use HFOV with respect to Y and not VFOV?

height, width = depthFrame.shape

aspect_ratio = height / width

VFOV = 2 * np.arctan(np.tan(HFOV / 2) * aspect_ratio)

It doesn't really matter; the sensor pixels are assumed to be square (all OAK sensors) so focal lengths are also the same.
