Hi everyone, I'm currently working with an OAK-D Pro camera that is installed as the CV for a pick-and-place robot. We use the depth camera to calculate the distance from the camera to objects coming down a conveyor belt. However, on a recent install the depth map appears to have a lot of banding and general unknown issues that are causing our robot to struggle with depth perception. I've tried applying different filters and playing around with the camera settings to no avail. It is worth mentioning that there are other robots with the exact same configuration/setup that are able to produce usable depth maps (and I have included an example of one in this post).
I'm curious to know if anyone has ever experienced something like this before and knows how to fix it/what might be the root cause. Is it possible the camera is just damaged? We have not seen this issue before and it has been a few days of trying to debug with no luck.
It's worth noting that although the rgb image for the bad depth image shows an empty conveyor belt, the depth image doesn't change much when there are things on the belt.
