How to reset the OAK-CM4?
Hello tarocal ,
That reset should only be for power reset. To factory reset it, you would need to re-flash the image to the CM4. You can get the pre-configured RPi OS image here.
Thanks, Erik
Thanks for the response. I see my mistake.
I dont have any rpi io boards now. So I'll have to flash it later.
I do want to know how to get the wireless networking working. I just see the 'No interface' message. I though it might just be simple fix, but I still can't seem to get it working.
My CM4 module cannot use the WiFi chip onboard. How do I fix it? Do you need anymore details from my ide to diagnose it better?
Once again, thanks.
I do not know it this has any effect on it, but somehow the device is capable of running without an sd card which does not seem like it should be able to do
Hello sean
Unless I am mistaken, the CM4 module we have has a emmc of 32 GB (sort of an inbuilt SD card that cannot be easily programmed or reset, you would need special hardware similar to the one shown here.)
Somone from the official team please correct me if I am wrong, and I'll remove the comment if needed.
Hello sean ,
We have just added docs on how to flash an image to the eMMC memory on the CM4, see docs here (they should be availabile in 15min, it has just started building). Will that help?
Thanks, Erik
Hi erik ,
Thank you for that, unfortunately my micro USB port is loose and therefore cannot power the board. I can however use the 5V power socket. I was looking through the raspberry pi documentation and could not quite make heads or tails from any of it. Is it possible for me to load a boot.img from the SD card, rather than through the micro USB port?
