Performance across yolo models

So i have multiple OAK 1 POE Cameras already running yolov8n and i am getting around 12-15fps for my current application this is pretty good.

I'd like to what if i try training yolov9n or yolov10n or yolov11n. What is the avg fps i can expect? What would be the overall performance? Would it get worse? The reason i am asking is because of the training time i require to do it. So if i could get an idea on how much this device can produce i can train the model accordingly . As in i can stick with yolov8n if the other wont perform well.

If you get 12-15 FPS with YOLOv8n, trying newer models, wont neccesarly give you better performance. Here’s a quick comparison beetwen YOLOv8n and YOLOv10n:

How fast it runs depends a lot on input resolution !! Higher res = lower FPS.
