Upgrading pre installed DepthAI Python library?

Hi all,

Just a quick question I am using OAK-D CM4 PoE camera's and I noticed that the most recent version of the Luxonis RPI OS image (V10) comes with DepthAI Python library v2.22.0.0. Would it be wise to update this package to the most recent version, v2.30.0.0? I am about to ship my application in production and was wondering if there might be a performance increase when updating to this new library.

Hey,

you can check the release notes for v2.30.0.0 here: luxonis/depthai-pythonreleases/tag/v2.30.0.0. There don’t seem to be any performance improvements that would directly benefit your setup, but look through them to see if any of the bug fixes or new features that could impact your code.
