• RAE
  • RAE does not read QR-wifi-code on hub.luxonis.com

I can't even get started, with the most basic stuff, with my rae.
This is what I try to do…

  1. Login at https://hub.luxonis.com/
Select [Devices] and press [+ Connect Device]
  2. Enter my SSID & Password => And the QR-code is generated.
  3. Power on my RAE
    The rea-display shows the following…
    - First the "rea" logo is showing..
    - Then a messages "Register at robohub.luxonis.com"…
  4. Hold the rea in front of the screen with the QR-code.
  5. No reaction from RAE at all :-(

The only way for me to access my rae is by terminal via USB-C cable.
$ ssh root@192.168.197.55

I haven't been able to find any information about

    1. What should be on the RAE display?
In my case it says "Register at robohub.luxonis.com"
    2. Which side, of the RAE, should I face/turn towards the screen with the QR code?
      Does it matter?
    3. How to connect my rae to my local WiFi.
Via nmcli (that does not exist on my rae) or wpa_supplicant.conf…

I don't think it matters which side. I was able to do it with the front two cameras. It's a bit finicky to get right but it should work.

Connect to WiFi by configuring the ssid and password before the QR code is created.

      Thanks,
      Jaka

I have been trying for 3 hours. I have tried 4 different monitors, turning off my blue light filter zooming in, out, tried on my phone, can't get it to connect at all. It just sits on register at robothub.luxonis.com

Sorry to hear that. Can you ssh to the device via USB on the side? If so, you can run factory-reset and the device should reset.

        Thanks,
        Jaka

jakaskerl I followed the steps provided by the AI, as factory-reset was not a valid command. Now I am just stuck on RAE screen. I am the same person as above, just made a new account.

Edit: I used the reset button on the bottom, finally got it reset. It still won't scan the QR code. I even tried printing it out, its like the camera's aren't working.

Is there a way to connect to the hub without the QR code?

Another Update: The RAE flashed 4 times while I was holding it to the QR code for 5 minutes, but nothing happened.

It just randomly flashes, even when not looking at the QR code. After another 2 hours of trying, I am close to giving up and saying it is faulty.
