Hi

In reference to the specs mentioned on the OAK-D S2 PoE page it shows that it can run at 30 FPS at a 4K resolution.

However, with even the simplest of script where I just have the camera and the output node to get an 4K image at its full FOV gives me just 4.5 FPS. I tested this with the RGB Video example as well with 4K image with a full FOV of 3840 x 2160 and I see I just get a max of 4.5 FPS on an average.

Please let me know why I am not able to see a higher FPS.

Thanks & Regards
Yishu

It's most likely a bandwidth issue. POE is limited to 1Gbps which is quickly saturated on 4K frames. The S2-POE page showing 4K 30 means the device is able to process frames at that rate, not necessarily display them, because that is a limitation of the network and the ETH controller on the device.

    Some calculations

    Thanks,
